Rules/Code, in my view, for a happy life.

Some rules in my view which could lead to a satisfying life.

1. Money matters. Never undermine the importance of money.
2. Believe exactly what you want to believe but never enforce that belief on others.
3. Be rational... always. But at the same time keep in touch with your emotional self, though always keeping rationality above emotions.
4. Keep your expectations low. Expect low, but wish high.
5. Be there for your friends when they need you, but to the reasonable extent.
6. Let them be there for you.
7. Don't fall in love with the idea of falling in love.
8. Keep an eye open for the future of your life all the time, but try not to control it. However, if you know there is no future prospect in something, don't knowingly go for it because it will probably only bring regret and suffering and no-going-back. In other words never go for something you know has no future.
9. Be radical and unique, but not radical enough to be declared an outcast.
10. Never bet it all on something.
11. Be ready to face the fall. Don't live in the illusion that you'll always fly. Trust me, you will fall down and its always better to be ready for that.
12. Have faith in yourself but not to the extent of stupidity.
13. Its okay to dream but never mistake the dream for reality because if you do, you will only be disappointed.
